TATOC 2011 Conference Report

The 2011 TATOC conference held at the Park Royal Hotel, Stretton near Warrington had a "real buzz" to it according to David Eastburn - and delegates did not disagree. With leading industry representatives rubbing shoulders with timeshare owners and committee members, it was a great opportunity for all involved with the industry to talk about key issues affecting the industry. Speakers focused on entry and exit strategies, the new timeshare directive and the importance of new social media opportunities. Keynote speaker Stuart Lamont from Club Leisure Group discussed how resorts should focus on the holiday experience for members and guests as the source of profitability. The conference was moderated by Jennie Thompson. During the evening event, over £4,300 was raised for timeshare charity, Christel House. You can read Christel House's response to this here.
